The largest shopping mall in Japan: “Aeon Lake Town”
Aeon Lake Town is the largest shopping mall in Japan and is located in Koshigaya, Saitama Prefecture.
It consists of three buildings, and are all connected through a walking passageway.
There are more than 700 shops here! Besides clothes and miscellaneous goods, they also have everything from 100 yen stores to movie theaters. It is so big that you cannot see everything in just one day.
One of the three buildings is an outlet mall, so fashion, outdoor, and sporting goods are cheaper.
Aeon Lake Town is not just for shopping. It is surrounded by nature, and as the name Lake Town suggests, you can see the nearby majestic lake. There are walking paths and lawns around the lake so it is a great place for breathing in some fresh air.
It is close to Tokyo and is only 52 minutes from Tokyo Station by train. You can get to Aeon Lake Town directly from the Koshigaya Lake Town Station.
