Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine has a history of more than 2000 years

Musashi Ichinomiya Hikawa Shrine, which is said to have a history of more than 2000 years, is the grand head shrine

of the Hikawa shrines in the Kanto region, and many worshipers gather here for hatsumode (the first shrine visit of the year)
Traditional festivals are held every season, especially an annual open air market“Tokamachi” held on Dec 10

that the venue is filled with sparkling “Kumade” rakes… and stalls, which is a gorgeous day.
And Takigi Noh (firelight noh performance) is also famous which is held in late of May every year.
Also, it will be fun to stop by a Japanese restaurant or rice dumpling shop located along the approach road

that is about 2 km from Hikawa Shrine Shrine.
