Let’s experience making Japanese-style paper at the Ogawamachi Washi Experience Learning Center!
Ogawa Washi (Japanese-style paper) is a symbol of Ogawamachi.
One type of Ogawa Washi is the “Hosokawa Paper”, which is made by using a traditional manufacturing method with Kozo (Paper Mulberry) as a prime material, and is registered as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.
Come to Ogawamachi to see, learn, and experience this ancient technology that goes beyond time.
You can also use this paper to write letters to a special person, make a Japanese fan, or even a book cover.
The way “Ogawa Washi” can be used is different for everyone.
