Senbei (rice crackers) is made by baking stretched rice and seasoning it with things, such as soy sauce, and is a famous Japanese snack.
Soka Senbei is the most famous rice cracker brand in Japan. Senbei is said to have originated in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture. There are more than 50 senbei shops in Soka City and there are stores where you can make your own senbei.
The highest grade of Soka Senbei is made one by one by a senbei chief, has many different types, and a single piece costs 1,000 yen.
